I save leftover food in vacuum packaging in the freezer and put labels printed from my inkjet printer to identify the contents later. However, the ink smudges occassionally when packages are stacked on one another inside the freezer. Is there any inexpensive consumer device that will let me print water-proof labels for the food packages?
I want to make labels for my candles, and I have lots of different ones. Help!
If you’ll go to avery.com, they’ll give you a free label wizard (for label templates) you can use in Microsoft Word. Once you create a document with the size of Avery labels you’re using (5160, for example) then before you print it, you can go into the document you’ve created, and change each label to your liking.
Note that the Avery wizard will create a sheet of identical labels. So, once the wizard has finished its job and created the document, THEN you’ll have to diddle the created document!
Avery’s a safe bet, since just about ALL (95%?) of pre-cut labels fit some Avery template. Avery gives away the wizard free, of course, because they want yer bucks. But the wizard is easy to use.
We used it for the little half-inch price labels for our plant sale. Worked like a champ.
How would I go about making professional looking CD labels? I’ve seen a similar question that recommended;
http://www.discmakers.com
Which I think is right up my alley but I don’t want to make a $300 dollar order for 100 DVDs. Homemade stompers, and Lightscribe are not my idea of professional grade. Would anyone know of a site like theirs that doesn’t require such massive bulk ordering?
I’ve used DiscMakers, and if you order 2day rush shipping, they let you pick any from 1-100 of how many you want. They do bulk because then the credit card fee would take away from their money: If you are buying expensive shipping, they don’t care and will let you choose how many you want.
Need to replace the front label to put on personalized ones.
Soak the bottle in hot water for about an hour. Sometimes the label will peel right off, others need to be scraped off with the back side of a knife and followed up by a scotch brite pad.
I am using MS Office 2007 on Vista. I have created a recipient list on MS Word (78 Christmas cards). I want to print this list, but have no idea how to do it. I would like multiple labels per page (not all of one label). I have tried MS’s Help and online assistance, all of which were useless. I appreciate any help in advance!
I have not used 2007 but in 2003 it was:
Open Word > Tools > Letters & Mailings > Envelopes & Labels.
We’re told to eat a certain number of different foods each day. And then there is the word servings on nutrition labels. Is it the same meaning?
No. The label on the can/package is from the company that produced the product. Notice how some of the serving sizes are so tiny. There is a reason for that.
I’m going to be mailing a demo CD of my singing to some record labels soon. The genre is Enka, it’s Japanese, it’s similar to classical or jazz I suppose.
I want to include a photo or two of myself, but I’m not sure what kind of photos I should send, and what type of clothing I should wear. Should it be shoulders up? Should I include more than one photo? Should I just be smiling on the pictures?
I’m a 25 year old female, by the way.
Any tips would be great!
similar to a Zed Card /Comp Card for promo modeling and contact information,
Bottle A contains a gas
Bottle B contains a liquid
Bottle C contains a solid.
The labels indicate that the compounds have the same # of carbon atoms, one being an alkane, on an alcohol and the other a carboxylic acid. Suggest the identity of each bottle and give reasons.
I cannot find that dialog box in tools > letters and mailings > mail merge> then cannot go from there my document printed all the recepients names but cannot get the labels to go through
Check this link for a full tutorial on mail merge, creating the list, merging, etc.
My friend is getting married and wanted to provide water for her guest. We thought it would be cool to have bottled water with labels that said their names and date on it. Just needed to know how can we make them waterproof so we can put them in ice?
you can use iether sticky back clear plastic to cover the label when made, or laminate them and stick them on the bottles with double sided sticky tape or waterproof glue. hope this helps. perhaps you could let me know how you get on.
