Surefire Ways to Make your Scrapbooking Pages Pop With Chipboard
Everybody seems to be using it now. It is all over scrapbooking pages, craft projects, and even home decor! So what is this rage all about? What’s so cool about chipboard?! If you use chipboard all the time, you know how fantastic it can be. But some of us are just beginning to see its amazing uses. I love chipboard because it is cheap, easy to use, versatile, and a fast way to add texture and pizzazz to your scrapbooking endeavor!
Before we get into the details, I wanted to explain a little on what chipboard is to those that have never used it. Chipboard is basically pressed fiber thick paper, usually made from recycled paper. It’s “naked” form is the brown cardboard color we have all seen. If you haven’t used chipboard before, you still probably have it in your house. It has been used for years as the backing to notepads or spiral notebooks and other stacks of paper.
If you don’t have chipboard around the house, many scrapbooking stores have sheets they give away for free (packs of paper usually have chipboard in them to keep paper from getting damaged when shipping and these are often discarded). Other stores have caught on to the rage and will charge 10-25 cents for a chipboard sheet. Either way, it is super cheap!
So now you have your chipboard – what do you do with it? Here are some great ways to use it to make your pages “pop”!
1. Make letters or numbers embellishments using chipboard. Use a stencil or die cut machine. I also like to print out my word or phrase using the size and font I want from my computer. I then place the printed paper over the chipboard and press hard along the outside of each letter with a pencil or pen, making an impression into the chipboard. Then you just cut it out. You can also buy some already cut letters that you just paint or stamp, tie on a ribbon, and voila – instant embellishment! And for the spoiled scrapbooker, you can get chipboard letters/numbers that are already decorated for you.
2. Create a one-of-a-kind chipboard embellishment. Make a chipboard flower and cover it with craft paint and a metal brad in the center for a perfect floral accent. My favorite is making chipboard tags to add to my papers or projects. I like to cover mine with scrapbooking paper and distress the edges. Once you punch a hole in the top and add a string or ribbon, this cute little addition to your page will definitely stand out! You can also make tags like this for gifts. I have also attached chipboard tags to baskets or boxes. They make the most amazing labels for storage.
3. Frames or photo mats really stand out when made out of chipboard. I like the difference in dimension that chipboard gives to a page layout. Chipboard will help your photos stand out more too. Add eyelets or brads and even rub-ons to make this a unique addition to your page.
4. If you make your journaling block out of chipboard, it will be sure to make those words more noticeable on your page. Add some lines to write on or better yet, start from the outside and write in a square or circle turning the block as you go. This will make for a more interesting journaling block.
5. To add some more zest to any chipboard shapes or letters:
-To alter painted or stamped shapes: lightly sand, paint with crackle medium or cover with mod podge.
-Tie or staple ribbon or fiber to your chipboard
-Glue rickrack or ribbon around the edge of your shape.
-Mix and match chipboard letters of different styles for a trendy title
-Make chipboard tiles by embossing designs on chipboard squares – check out this website for a cute idea!
Chipboard can be an amazing product for the beginner and the seasoned scrapbooker. I hope you take time to use this new trend in your scrapbooking.

Tips To Losing Weight During The Holidays
With the holiday season comes gifts, friends and family and lot’s of food. Many would be dieter’s are waiting to start that new diet as part of their New Year’s resolution. Instead of waiting, why not be proactive during the holidays by actively performing some tips that we have in store for you.
1. Reduce your intake of alcoholic beverages – Although this is a merry time of year, and many of us like to celebrate with a glass of wine or a bottle of beer. Do yourself a favor a limit yourself to one glass or bottle of alcohol. Alcohol increases insulin which increases appetite. The average American over the age of 14 consumes 2.65 gallons of pure (absolute) alcohol per year, which would average out to be more than 20 pounds of weight for every person in the U.S. Since one-third of the population does not drink, this figure would be 28 pounds of weight per year on the average for a person who does drink. Alcohol prevents the body fat from being burned, and alcohol removes the self-control required to tolerate hunger.
2. Increase the consumption of water – A recent study found more people drink soda over a year’s time than water. The body itself can only survive without water up to 72 hours before the human body shuts down. Drinking water also fills you up, feeling your stomach with fluids, therby giving a full effect. Drinking two glasses of water before eating a big meal may help you eat less and give your body the water it desperately needs. Drink at least 8 ounces of water daily, or 4 bottled waters. If you look at most bottled water labels, it contains about 16.9 ounces of water.
3. Reduce your intake of sugar – Sugar, soda & other artificially sweeten drinks and deserts goes straight to your waistline. Even juices contain high amounts of sugar and should either be limited or removed from one’s diet. If you’re craving orange juice, eat an orange instead. Although fruits contain natural sugar, it contains much less of the other fructose and high end sugars usually found it drinks, juices and sugar related beverages. It is the holidays, so everyone will eat sweets and deserts. Just make a consious effort not to divulge too much.
4. Eat slowly – Not only does eating slowly give you a more fuller effect after eating, but it’s way better for digestive purposes. Everyone get’s excited with the amount of good food available and sometimes eats too quickly. Again, be conscious of that and chew your food at least 20 times before swallowing and you’ll big differences in your digestive effects and feeling more fuller after eating.
5. Tighted your stomach with excercise – Yes that is correct. Most people won’t do this because again, they plan to start “right after the holidays”. But the key to losing weight and wellness overall is to be proactive about your weight and health. Doing something later, just for the sake of a couple of days is really silly. Be proactive and do 50 leg lifts or 50 sit-ups 30-45 minutes before a meal and your stomach will tighten up a bit.
6. Limit Your Intake of Saturated Fat – This is the kind of fat, found mostly in animal products, that increases blood cholesterol levels and has other negative health effects. It should supply less than one-third of the calories derived from fat.
Keep your cholesterol intake below 300 milligrams per day.
7. Vitamins and Minerals
Supplements cannot substitute for a healthy diet, which supplies nutrients and other compounds besides vitamins and minerals, but they can assist the body to function more effeciently when taken properly. Providing your body with the right types of vitamins and minerals may also lead to better weight management along with providing your body with added nutrients it needs to perform optimally.

Hidden Sodium in your Everyday Foods is a True Health Hazard!
Sodium is a silent Killer. Especially to those with Hypertension, Heart Disease, and other Health Issues. Do they print this on the Label? Of course not, they figure what you do not know will not hurt you. But that is completely false.
Over 2.5 years ago I was forced to go on a Sodium Restricted Diet for Health reasons. I have lost over 50 pounds in those 2.5 years without even trying, just changing the way I ate.
So many people are into Carb Counting, Fat Gram Counting and Calorie Counting.
What if I told you a Friend and I had compiled a list of Recipes that included NO Sodium in the food preparation and the food tasted just as good as if it had all the bad ingredients in it? Well we have, and we are going to be releasing this book soon. What does this book do for you?
• Improves Your Overall Health (MY Cholesterol was at the Normal levels and prior they were at dangerously high levels)
• Healthy Weight Loss (50 Pounds in 2.5 years)
• NO Need for a High Blood Pressure Pill anymore ( I will talk more about that)
• Healthier Eating Habits
• Recipes your whole Family will love and never guess they are missing Salt!
• And many more Benefits that the Book will Cover
It is a Little more Costly to eat this way, but I bet it is cheaper than Jenny or other Diet Plans.
You will need Fresh Veggies, Can ones contain a lot of Sodium. The next time you are in the Grocery Store look at the labels for Sodium Grams. The Object is to keep it at 600 MG per meal. 1800 MG a Day. It really works. If you follow the instructions in the book and what I am claiming does NOT happen (BUT YOU MUST FOLLOW THIS 100%) I will Gladly Replace your $29.97 for the book.
Why spend all that money on Guru Diets when a Simple Low Sodium Diet will do the exact same thing plus improve your overall Health? Now back to my getting on the Sodium Restricted Diet, ( Low Sodium Free) I did have High Blood Pressure, But not one single Doctor said reduce your Sodium intake. Honestly even if they had of I would not have done it. Sodium had to cause me agony before I tried it, it is like the fear of the Dentist. When it hurts bad enough you really will go. I was in bad shape due to an inner ear condition and Sodium had become a Poison to me.
In the past 2 years we have created recipes like:
• Fried Chicken and Wings
• Hamburgers With All The Trimmings
• Soups, 100% FRESH!
• Chinese Dishes
• Spaghetti
• Hot Dogs even with Chili
• French Fries
• Veggies (Must be Fresh or Frozen)
• Meat Loaf
• Stuffed Peppers
• Basically any food that you could eat before has been duplicated and when the book comes out try it on your family, The odds are they will never know and you will be doing everyone a favor but eating a Healthier Way
• A Salt-a- holic may know as they consume so much salt I am surprised they have not dried up.
I plan to have the book ready by New Years, it will be $29.97 and that is a small price to pay for a Healthier Lifestyle and lose weight without the high prices of these High Priced Diet Plans, that in my opinion only work temporary. This is easy as the food taste no different. You can improve your Health, lose weight and actually keep it off, I have for over 2 years now.

Supplements for Joint Pain
We all know the importance of mineral and vitamins in our body. Body joint movements and healthy joint functions are very important aspects. We all want to take proper care of them. There are a number of essential vitamins that the body needs to function properly and it is possible to take these in the form of a vitamin supplement. The majority of people do not have a balanced diet and they may be lacking in certain vitamins which means that they require a vitamin supplement to ensure that they do not have a deficiency of an essential vitamin. Certain vitamins are absolutely essential for the joint health. A health practitioner is the best person to give advice on any vitamin supplement that a person should take. It is important to seek professional advice before taking any vitamin supplement. This is because there are some vitamins that can be toxic if too much is consumed and a vitamin supplement may not be appropriate if there is enough of the vitamin already in the food a person eats.
Joint pain is a big problem especially in America. The acceptance of joint support products by consumers has been increasing due to their proven effectiveness, as well as their ability to promote and maintain joint health with little or no side effects. Currently joint pain, disability and restricted mobility affect more than 40 million Americans. As the U.S. population ages, it is expected that this number will double within the next decade. These symptoms, once considered an unavoidable consequence of aging, are now being successfully treated by joint support products. There are various categories of products and usually they contain glucosamine, MSM etc. which help in covering the damage. It’s also advisable for the joint pain sufferers to supplement their diet with minerals and vitamins supplements. Some categories of people may require more types of vitamin supplement than others. Vegetarians are often deficient in certain vitamins that are only found in animal products, for example, and a vitamin supplement is the ideal solution to this problem. Vegetarians do need to be aware that some vitamin supplement manufacturing processes involve animal products and it is important for them to read the labels. A large number of synthetic vitamin supplement products are available which will enable a vegetarian to take them without contravening their dietary beliefs or needs.
Children may sometimes show symptoms of vitamin deficiencies. Contrary to the popular belief many younger people can also suffer form joint pain. They will often need a vitamin supplement, especially if they show any symptoms of joint pain. Many young people do not eat a sufficient variety of foods in their early years and a vitamin supplement can help compensate for this natural deficiency. Breast feeding for children has long been recommended as a source of all the essential nutrients but women who choose not to or are unable to bottle feed may be concerned as to whether their baby needs a vitamin supplement. The large majority of baby milk formulas contain additional vitamins to prevent the need for a vitamin supplement to be given. It is important to discuss any concerns over the need for a baby or child to take a vitamin supplement with a health professional to ensure that the correct solution is found.
Vitamins are not only for those suffering from joint pains. Elderly people or those suffering from certain diseases or illnesses are other groups of people that may need to take a vitamin supplement. The body may often need a vitamin supplement to compensate for a person not being able to consume the recommended daily allowance of certain vitamins through their normal diet.

Utilizing the Possibilities of Paypal
As a staff writer at ‘Home Based Business’ we regularly answer questions submitted by our members one great topic electronic commerce.
PayPal. It has become synonymous with eBay. PayPal is the method preferred by most buyers because it enables them to pay safely with their credit or debit card. Considering the number of credit and debit card transactions that are made by the population today, being unable to utilize a means of allowing people to pay with their credit or debit cards can seriously cripple an online business. But didn’t you know? PayPal is not just for eBay members anymore.
PayPal can be utilized by businesses for a variety of reasons. PayPal also offers many different services to merchants and buyers alike, offering flexibility and plenty of tools. One aspect of PayPal that both buyer and seller enjoy is the fact that PayPal guards all information and does not allow one party access to another party’s information. This is especially good for the small business that does not have the means to store or secure personal information.
For the small business looking for a way that allows their customers to pay via credit card or debit card, PayPal can be the way to go. PayPal offers merchant accounts that only charge a certain amount for each transaction that goes through. Other sites that offer the same service can charge more. PayPal only charges a small fee for their service, about 3.3 percent of each transaction. It is more cost-effective than a larger credit card company whose fees can change depending upon the transaction amount. There is also only one setup fee to worry about, and this is usually quite low. Depending upon the amount your business may end up making, you can upgrade your account at any time to accommodate for your growing business.
PayPal also has plenty of tools that are easy to use. Invoicing can be particularly handy for businesses to make requests to other merchants they may be purchasing from. Or for sole proprietor businesses, such as the freelance writer providing services to multiple businesses, the invoicing tool can be an easy way of requesting payment and remaining organized.
Shipping charges can also be calculated early on through PayPal. Businesses can use PayPal’s shipping integration methods as well as calculating shipping and attaching the information to product amounts. You can also print out shipping labels for both national and international shipping.
You can work your business through multiple currencies, easily handle refunds, and even allow gift certificates. When you sign up, you should take a long look at the site and check out all the available options PayPal can offer you before customizing them to suit your business needs. Decide on whether you want to offer buyer protection and other services.
Before signing up with PayPal, a business may want to post a bulletin on their site for consumers to see and comment on. If the majority of customers are warm toward using PayPal, then go ahead and use it. However, PayPal is not a perfect system and has left a few people feeling sore against the company in the past. If too many of your customers show negative feelings toward using PayPal, you may want to seek out other options for them to pay electronically.
With over 3 million business accounts and still growing, PayPal may can a great way for you to expand your business. Low fees and ease of use make it ideal for small e-commerce sites and can help bring in more customers, removing the wait for payment by mail and making transactions for items instantaneous. What more could you ask for?

Affiliate Networks: 9 Simple Tips on How to Tell Them Apart
Affiliate networks and websites are often categorized by advertisers. The truth is there are really no industry-wide standards that are accepted and followed by networks for categorization. Most of the labels for websites are generic and are used mostly by the marketers.
• Marketers who use search engines and utilize the pay per click system to market their product.
• Comparison shopping websites and network browsing directories.
• Goodwill sites, these are affiliates who use reward systems like a cash back policy or one that donates a certain amount of the customer’s payment to charity.
• Websites that give coupons and rebates. These are affiliate networks that focus on sales promotion and up-selling method of a certain product.
• Content websites, which feature the product in detail or provide reviews about the product.
• Personal websites, which is how affiliate networks began, but are almost dated these days.
• Blogs and other syndicated feeds. These also use the pay per click system.
• Email List, the type of websites that offer their services and goods that let people sign in with their email addresses to receive the most updated information about the product. The emails or newsletters sent to the consumer are rather text heavy and very much in detail.
• Registration websites. These include forums and other social networking sites that sometimes include the offers and the products of their merchants while the internet user is registering to be a member of the site.
Whatever an advertiser chooses is fine. What’s important is that the chosen method suits the ethics and services of the company.

Bottled Water Sales Soar
Bottled water, a multi-billion dollar industry, is growing rapidly. Today more people, approximately 68 percent of consumers, are drinking bottled water. Because of this, bottled water sales are increasing to the tune of nearly 10 percent per year. Americans consumed 8.25 billion gallons in 2006. On average, consumption increased by over 2 gallons per capita to 27.6 gallons.
Many consumers use bottled water thinking it is safer than tap water, which is not necessarily true. The truth is many bottled waters, approximately 25 percent, are nothing but tap water that has been processed and packaged.
Many bottled waters are high in quality, and yet, bottled water may not be the safer alternative. Fact is, bottled water is regulated by the Food and Drug Administration. The FDA regulations are similar to the Environmental Protection Agency regulations on tap water. Currently, the EPA only requires testing for 114 contaminants of the 260 contaminants detected in tap water. The regulations on bottled water are lacking in many respects. For instance, bottled water which is processed and sold in the same state may not be regulated at all.
The Natural Resources Defense Council recently completed a study on 1000 bottled waters and found that 17 percent exceeded unenforceable sanitary guidelines for microbiological purity. They also concluded that most bottled water is no cleaner or safer than tap water. Some bottled waters were found to contain chemical or biological contaminants. 40 percent of the water tested was found to be of good quality.
The source of bottled water comes into question also. Do not be misled by the advertising. The question is – is it really from a sparkling mountain stream, a local tap water supplier, or from a well? Read the fine print on the label. If it states “from a municipal source” or “from a community water system” the source is derived from tap water. Just because the label has a picture of a mountain stream does not mean that was the source.
For example, the NRDC located a bottled water company which produces bottled water from a well located in the middle of an industrial warehouse facility and next to a state-designated industrial waste site in Millis, Massachusetts. The bottled water produced from this facility was found to be contaminated with industrial solvents including trichloroethylene at levels above EPA and FDA standards. At least one of the brands produced there displayed labels with a picture of a beautiful lake and mountain scene.
One thing for sure is, no matter what the source, if water is not properly treated for bacteria and filtered for contaminants it is not safe to drink.
Bottled water is expensive, averaging approximately $2.85 per gallon. The smaller the bottle, the more expensive it is by volume.
More money is spent on packaging, labeling, and marketing of bottled water than the production itself.
Point of use water filters are a more economical, cost effective, and convenient choice. High quality water filters can reduce many contaminants of health concern to a high degree, are more convenient, and produce better drinking water than most bottled water.

How do you print labels from an Excel document?
I have an excel document, one column has names and another the address. How can I go about printing these names and addresses on labels?
It’s easiest to do in Word, if you do it in Excel you have to make sure everything matches up. In Excel hit the "F1" key and type in "Print labels" and see what it comes up with, it will give you step by step instructions.
Word’s easiest because it’ll ask you how many labels are on the page, etc and adjust your document accordingly.
How do you reverse microsoft transfer labels to a list?
I made labels onto microsoft word from an excel sheet. However, I now need the labels back in list format. How can I get that format done?
Delete system32
This is the best answer
Is it easy to print cd labels on a home computer?
If I buy some round cd stickers, will it be easy to work out how to print them with an image on?
Yes. There are instructions on the label packaging you purchased. There are also web pages from the company name you purchased them from (for example, Avery) that have templates and instructions. There are also templates available on-line. (microsoft.com/templates.) The other answers are correct too. A sticker can sometimes imbalance the cd if applied just slightly off balance. It is best to get a cd printer, but if that option is not available, just take your time and have fun.
